• Five-Stage Battery Recharging
  A richly-featured recharger is available, which as well as being adaptable to various battery types, also features four-stage automatic recharging plus manual equalization. While most competitive UPS systems offer three-stage recharging, a fourth timed resting stage is added. In order that gel and VRLA batteries do not dry out due to constant float, the charger automatically turns itself off and on again during periods of inactivity.
  
  
• Deluxe Battery Monitoring
  An optional charge/discharge monitoring system is available which keeps track of energy in and out of the Battery Bank, enabling calculated runtimes to be computed and displayed. In addition, real-time DC Battery Amps and Battery Bank State of Charge can be displayed.
  
  
• Split-Phase Output
  A 3-wire 120/240 output is available, which is ideal for powering mixed loads which include both 120 VAC and 240 VAC items.
  
  
• Load Priority
  In the case of two large intermittent loads (e.g. pumps or compressors) both needing emergency back up power support, an optional system can be provided to prioritize them so that they can run alternately from a power supply at half the size than that needed to run both loads simultaneously.
  
  
• Soft Start
  An electronic "soft start" module is available to provide assistance in starting large motors in lieu of an oversized inverter.
